This is why I'm going to bite the bullet in the next month or two and buy a fancypants treadmill & cancel my membership at the Y. I'm tired of being limited to 30 minutes on equipment, and lately I'm tired of practically having to arm-wrestle people for the machines. My $50/month can go to the treadmill.
LOL. Exactly why I work out at home. 1) Don't want to intrude on someone else's established routine 2) Don't have to worry about someone messing up mine. Well, those reasons plus I just don't like working out with other people.
I work out at home, too - I have an elliptical, treadmill & stationary bike--the only person I have to share with is my husband and the occasional cat!
This is awesome. I use to feel the same way about people who went to church on Easter and Christmas. Although now I don't go at all so I have not business being upset!
When I was a gym person, I hated the Resolution flurry of people messing with my routine. Now I just work out at home and fight with the cats over the weight bench.
Haha- I avoid the gym because of this very thing... I know that I would be annoyed by having to fight for my space to work out! I'm an antisocial exerciser so that gets in the way...
OMGosh... hilarious! I *hate* waiting for a treadmill. I want to shout at the young things on the treadmill and say, 'people, did you see me drop off my 3 kids! I don't have the time to wait!!!'
LA Fitness is actually pretty good, I've seen people have to wait... but me, never more than 5 minutes.
Wait... maybe they did see me with my kiddos?! LOL.

HAHA! The trend I notice at my gym isn't so much now but in the summer! GET OFF MY SPIN BIKE!

That's why I don't work out - you can all thank me with flowers and chocolate
LOL This is why I'm waiting til February to go to the gym. ;)
Ha, I'm not offended at all. Just amused.
My friend Noelle and I used to get so pissed because we could never get our usual treadmills together... sometimes we even had to wait!
Seriously! It happens every year at my YMCA too!
And I really hate how they fill up the parking lot so I have to park way out in the middle of nowhere for three months!
Bhahaha.. LOL!!
