Sure, life is happening, but I cannot seem to pull it all into a decent post.
So you get this that I promised to write nearly two months ago for my friend at the blog Know When To Shut-Up! because I am telling you I am SERIOUSLY LAME these days.
Sorry Mel. I am lame.
Seven Things You May Not Know About Me
- I was a lifeguard for many years and taught most of the kids in Eden Prairie, MN how to swim at the Community Center between 1986 and 1988.
- Not only did I work in radio, but so did my brother and grandmother.
- I spent THREE plus years trying to get pregnant with @IamBooBooLaLa and then pushed her out with no drugs after a mere five hours of labor and twenty minutes of pushing. Got lucky.
- I breastfed my daughter for twenty-two months. That is MONTHS, not weeks or days. And I am not a hippie or member of the La Leche League.
- My husband and I have a small collection of snow globes that started with one he bought me after a big fight.
- I buy Powerball and Hot Lotto tickets every drawing. It was my substitute for my smoking habit that I kicked...so nyah!
I hope you enjoyed this and will take your turn! If you do remember to direct me to your post! And please try to enable email responses to your comments...I WANT to reply back to you. Enabling me to email you from the comment makes it so much easier!

I nursed both my daughters for 20 months...they would have nursed longer if I had let them! A snow globe collection sounds neat, especially the way you started collecting them. :)
Fun and revealing read. I laughed about the straddle and it brought back memories of a very young employee trying to clean every bit of blood out of the stand's popcorn machine--the site where that young dummy cut his hand good.
That was fun. The nail thing is too funny!!!
Love it! Thanks for posting it - what a fun way to learn more about you! :)
ps. I love snow globes!
I am SO with you! I am stuck, stuck for something to write about.
I was a lifeguard too! I still teach swimming lessons in the summer!
Fun! I love snowglobes...though I don't collect them (or anything really because I have no. space!)
xoxo
You rock (but you already know that)...way to kick your smoking habit!
I was a lifeguard too, I often find myself thinking about how awesome that job was, sitting in the sun, getting a great tan... if it only paid better :)
22 months BFing, wow! I already done with Edy at 7 months, but she's not~
Happy I caught this post!
