Go now and get the savings - watch the video and see what you can GE reveal®

Just so we are clear, you can only print the coupon today - New Year's Eve 2013 but it will be good for 45 days after you print it and Target Cartwheel ( Get the app here!) will have layered on savings for you Jan 3 - Feb 1, 2014.

Come back later and I will show you what I did with GE reveal®!!

Quite a different New Year.

Its very quiet.

I have no children running around asking for another cheese stick, glass of water, or juice.

No piles of crafts and toys and snowpants.

I have no girlfriend offering to brew up the next pot of coffee.  No lasagna thawing to go into the oven.  And not a counter full of bottles of wine waiting for someone to say - we can have a glass, its noon, right?

No smell of two-stroke.

No gaggle of husbands dominating the television with sports.

No plans to get dressed up and head out with the girls - paying Jake $20 to drive us to the local watering hole and pick us up again when we have had our fill of lemon drops.

New Year - Mid Week and not enough time for us all to have a proper getaway.

It is a different start to the New Year.

But there will be crab, there will be a kiss from T-bone, there will be a day to relax instead of unpack and there will be the promise of 2014.

Happy New Year.

Power on the go? Yes please - give me a Magicstick.

About a year ago I bought a power 'brick' to keep a charge on my phone.

It was just that, a brick.

I tried to like it, but it was a pain to charge - and the connector really didn't sit in my phone well so it was tedious to use.

Recently a company called PowerRocks contacted me to ask if I would like to use their Magicstick 2800mAh.  I went to their website, PoweRocksMedia.com, and really? It looked cool.  Much slimmer design that the one I purchased a year ago. Simple, used USB ports...I had to try it.

I got a really nice silver one and well...

That is it! Charged itself fast, slipped right into the inside pocket of my purse, re-charged my phone from 18% to FULLY CHARGED in no time. And considering I usually forget to charge my phone at night this little Magicstick is definitely useful for me to keep in touch.

I was super impressed. I had to tell you about it, well because they sent me one free, but also because it is pretty awesome. I have had it for over a week now and could not be happier with it.  And I speak from experience in using a similar product. This is so simple! So powerful. And because you charge your electronics by plugging your charge cord into a USB port on the Magicstick it can power up just about anything. My Samsung Galaxy, Boo Boo's iPod, our Nook...anything.

Seriously.  If you need a last minute gift I would HIGHLY recommend this for any busy mom, college student, person in sales, etc. If you need one (maybe for yourself) you can get them at their website where they offer free shipping or if you have Amazon Prime I have seen it available there!  Just search for the POWER\OCKS Magicstick 2800mAh.

Hmmm. I maybe need a second one.

Holiday Lights 2013

Yes.

A jogger called 911 thinking we were stalking her...

Yes.

The police officer laughed.

Yes.

All photos taken with my Samsung Galaxy S4 - not paid to say that!!!  But I KNOW it worked way better than when I used my digital camera.

Oh - I did this before in 20112009 and 2008 I toured you around my home.
P.S. My house looks more Christmas-y inside now that I have RED Curtains.  :)

Santa Claus is coming to town...and I found out what he is bringing too.

Monday, December 9, 2013

It has been pretty busy for me both at work, at home and with my extra-fun activities.

I can't tell you how many pricing requests I have had, contracts I have written and hours of meetings I have attended.  No really, I have no idea any more.  It.is.just.a.lot!

I took last Monday off - I was at school to meet with the team reviewing our school's IB accreditation and for parents to pickup poinsettias from the fundraiser.  But I worked the whole time due to the crunch I am under, so yeah - that was 8 hours of PTO well spent.

My director was in town - we report to someone in Boston now - and he took us out to dinner Wednesday. That was actually really nice and I enjoyed being out with him and the members of our team who could make it, there was about 6 inches of snow, so....

I went to a FUN cookie exchange on Thursday after working until 7pm. My son has been eating ALL the cookies. Yesterday I put a stop to any further consumption of the Russian Teacakes.

Friday night - a real live, grown-up, dress-up, holiday party with the other couples from our church!

Saturday? All us moms, and some dads, get up for 9:30am  Christmas Pageant Rehearsal at Church. Cuz we are JUST THAT SMART in our planning of fun!

Then off to see Santa with the in-laws:

It was a good thing we got to see Santa too - I had NO idea he was bringing a Crayola Crayon Maker!

Then Saturday Night? Oh YES. More real-live holiday fun. This time with SAILORS!

My friend Julie married a Navy guy - he has Navy buddies and they invite along my Sailor and I to the fun!  I think I almost peed my pants twice.

Sunday - church and then ALL THE ERRANDS I had no time to do the rest of the week.

Please do not look to closely at my floor.  I have not vacuumed in - ummmm. yeah.

Laundry? I will get to the mountain.

PTO tonight - Girl Scouts tomorrow night - then I give up. Oh wait, I promised Boo Boo La La we would make peppermint cocoa to give as holiday gifts to various and sundry lovely people.

And I need to stop and pickup gifts as they arrive for my ship-to-store orders.

What have a gotten my self into?  I remember when I actually used to blog about

4) AND SNOW!!!

I hope your holiday season is not nearly as hectic, but just as fun!

Joy to the world, peace on Earth, and Merry Christmas!

I got FABULOUS on my chest.

So I got the opportunity from Allied Shirts to try out their custom shirt service.

Make my own t-shirt design?  Yes.  Yes, I will.

I took this logo....

I went to this link...

AlliedShirts.com

I uploaded the logo, manipulated where I wanted it.  Front? Back? Corner or the WHOLE shirt? I picked my shirt color and size - and type, they have womens - mens - long sleeve, short, even sweatshirts and girly t's...

What did I end up with?

A COMFY PURPLE T that fits EXCELLENT thank you.  I got a ladies cut Gildan T from Allied Shirts collection and it is amazingly comfortable and moves with me, plus I love the purple.

If you need/want custom t-shirts I would highly recommend Allied Shirts as they really delivered a quality shirt in record time.  And their pricing for even just one custom shirt is worth it.

I am off to be FABULOUS FRIDAY in my very own custom t.  How are you Fab today?
